Maverick Systems LLC was founded as a Colorado limited liability company in
January 2000. Maverick Systems’ founder, Jon Pool, formed the software
development company after operating as a sole proprietor for many years.
Maverick Systems specializes in the analysis, design, and development of
database applications for the defense, telecommunications, and health care
industries.
As our name suggests, Maverick Systems does not operate like most contractors.
Most of our staff have spent many years working for those contractors and we
have a long list of special achievement awards, etc. to prove that we know
exactly how those companies approach a project. While working for those
companies we learned that the “80/20” rule applies to project staffing as it
does to most things – 80% of the output is produced by 20% of the people
staffing the project. Maverick Systems was formed to exploit that experience by
bringing together that crucial 20% of key personnel that form the core of our
employee base.
The productivity of our unique group of people goes beyond individual high
achievement. It comes from years of working together, maximizing communication
and cooperation. It comes from low employee turnover and intense focus on the
subject areas so that we don’t have to be taught what we need to know to
succeed. Above all it comes from the knowledge that every member of our team is
